The Role: Head Greenkeeper
As Head Greenkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our course and club grounds. You will report to the General Manager and Greens Committee, ensuring the course remains in peak condition year-round. Your expertise will directly contribute to improving playability, aesthetics, and sustainability, aligning with our long-term vision for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily maintenance and long-term development of the golf course.
- Implement best practices in turf management, irrigation, and environmental sustainability.
- Lead and work alongside a team, including volunteers, to achieve high standards.
- Collaborate with the Greens Committee and Club Manager to plan course improvements.
- Ensure machinery and equipment are maintained and used efficiently.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Head Greenkeeper or a senior role in course maintenance.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Knowledge of agronomy, irrigation systems, and golf course machinery.
- Passion for golf course presentation and continuous improvement.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to course management.
